This very well maybe the smallest coin with a die clash. The Guatemala ¼ Real was struck in 1890 and shows an unabraded die clash on both the obverse and reverse dies. The clash marks are indicated by white arrows. The top of the middle volcano can be seen clash just below the EA of REAL. The SUN can be seen clashed above the middle star on the reverse. Close examination of the clash marks reveal that this was a dual event (two clashing of the dies)
Also noted are the many die cracks on the obverse die and the repunched star on the reverse. This makes the coin a very interesting collectible item.
