This 1996, 1 Centavo from Brazil has a rather unique die clash. Normally, die clashes involving digits and letters appear incused into the opposing die. Since the date is raised on the die (incused in the coin), the die clash will appear as a raised mirror image of the clashed desgin element.
At first glance, the reverse does not appear to have any die clash marks. Because the date is raised on the die, that is the first portion of that die to come into contact with the opposing die. Thus, the clash marks are found on the date, which in this case are the diagonal bars seen on the obverse die.
The image to the rigth shows a magfnified view of the date.
