This 1891,  2 centavos from Argentina shows both an obverse and reverse unabraded die clash.

The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when they did clash.


The picture to the left shows the clash marks left by Liberty’s hair on the obverse die.

Multiple clash marks are seen from Liberty’s cap (Pileus).

This die is recognizable from the re-punched 1 digit (the last digit) in the date.


The picture to the left shows the clash marks left by the obverse die.

The rays from the sun and the bars behind the cap and rod (Pileus and Vindicta) can be seen clashed into the throat and neck area of Liberty.

The lower part of the flags on the obverse can be seen clashed just behind Liberty’s cap (Pileus)
