This is a simple clash found on a 1914-P Buffalo nickel. Even though the coin is in a lower grade, the clash marks are still plainly evident.
The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when they did clash.
The picture above shows the RIBUS of PLURIBUS and the word UNUM clashed under the Indian’s chin.
The throat line can be seen clashed through the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM.
