TDC-3c-1868-02

This rather strong die clash found on an 1868 3c nickel shows the profile of Liberty on the reverse die. While this is a strong die clash, it is not unusual to find this strength in die clashes on the 3c series.

Notice the Longacre’s doubling seen on the word AMERICA. A slight chatter is seen on the numeral die clash mark from the bow to Liberty’s hair.
