TDC-25c-2009-01AS
This is a typical die clash found on a 2009-P American Samoa quarter. This die clash was found by Steven Bernatowicz.
The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when the did clash.
The picture to the above shows the clash mark left by the top rim of theĀ tanoa (ava bowl).
Notice in the picture above: there are three individual die clash marks left by the same design element. This may have been caused by die chatter.
The reverse shows Washington’s jaw line and some of his hair clashed just above theĀ tanoa.
