This is a dual clash event that is found on a 1975D Lincoln cent. The image to the left shows the two clash marks left by the roof of the Memorial building as they pass through the first two digits of the date.
Other parts of the obverse die have been heavily abraded to remove traces of the clash marks. However, faint marks can still be detected through the die scratches.
The reverse die has also been abraded rather heavily and does not show an indication of clash marks. There is an unusual die dent under the right base of the Memorial building, which may have been the result of a struck through a foreign object.
