TDC-1c-1974D-01

While this abraded die clash, found on a 1974D Lincoln cent, is not that spectacular, it does show that the dies can be tilted when they clash.

The only apparent clash mark is the one left by the right cornice corner with the vertical leading up to the roof of the Memorial building.

When a clash mark appears in this area, it is usually associated with a strong clashing of the dies. However, this is not the case in this situation.
