TDC-1c-1960D(SD)-02
This is another typical atypical 1960-D small date tilted die clash on a Lincoln cent that involves the Memorial
building roof and line the line of Lincoln’s jacket.
The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when they did clash.
The roof line form the Memorial building can be seen dissecting the 1 digit of the date.
Lincoln’s jacket line can be seen as a diagonal clash line from the top of the Memorial building roof.
This die can be recognized by the heavy die scratching through LIBERTY, the die chip on the left base vertical of the Memorial building, the die crack from the left base tip of the Memorial building and the die gouge on the base line under the die chip.
