The obverse die shows a light die clash left by a fold in Liberty’s robe. It is seen underneath and to the left of Taylor’s left eye.

The reverse die shows clash marks left by both of Taylor’s eyes. The “extra” ray in Liberty’s crown is a clash mark left by the bridge of Taylor’s nose.
