This partially abraded die clash is found on a 2007 Washington dollar coin. The only obverse clash mark is seen through Washington’s eye and was formed by Liberty’s torch arm (the right) and the hem of her right sleeve.

This coin is courtesy of Robert Kirkland of Florida

The reverse of this die clash shows a strong clash mark left by Washington’s right eye between the dollar sign and the 1 digit, A fold in the scarf worn around Washington’s neck adds an extra ray to Liberty’s crown in the next picture. The only abraded part on the reverse is where Washington’s check bone left a clash mark under Liberty’s chin.

This coin was also struck through heavy deposits of grease, which left a crinkled surafce on parts of both the field and some design elements. Most noted was the area around the dollar sign, the one digit and the right sleeve of Liberty’s gown.
