The year 1963 seems to be the year for radically misaligned die clash on the Canadian sent; this is the fifth example from that year. The image above shows the clash marks left by the spaces between the denticles (white arrows). While it is presumed that this error occurred while installing the dies in the coin press, it may have happened by inadvertent meeting of the dies after their production.
