The photo to the left shows the clash marks left by the denticles on the edge of the die on a 1962 Canadian cent.
While we can be positive of the east to west alignment of the dies to each other, there may be a slight difference of positioning in the north to south direction of the dies than depicted by the overlay.
The overlay shows both the reverse and obverse dies in a medal strike, which Canada uses instead of the coin strike (dies 180 degrees different in position).
