MDC-1c-1998-03
To the left is a obverse and reverse MAD clash on a 1998 Lincoln cent; the third for the date. It shows clash marks between the motto and the design rim corresponding to the folds from Lincoln’s coat. In turn, on that area of the coat, can be found a semicircular clash mark and parts of the reverse motto clashed from a radically misaligned and tilted die clash.
The bottom image shows a full approximation overlay of the misalignment.
This die was found by Louis Schaeffer.
