CCL(T2)-25c-1999-01
Illustrated here is the newest, rarest, and clearest Type II counterclash. It appears on a 1999-P Delaware quarter. The name CAESAR RODNEY is duplicated, with the duplicate version located just south of the normal letters. RODNEY is most easily seen as it is located in the field and is entirely separated from its normal counterpart. Only two specimens have been found so far.
Type II counterclashes are often associated with miscellaneous die damage. On this quarter, a curved die dent can be seen between the letters AWA (of DELAWARE).
