This colonial British half Rupee for use in India shows multiple sets of clash marks that are rotated 10 degrees from the actual strike.

 

The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when they did clash. The close proximity of each clash event does not warrant individual overlays for each event.

 

This die clash was found by Roger Blain.

The picture to the left show the clash marks left by the circle around the denomination and the date on the reverse.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The clash marks left by the crown can be seen in HALF RUPEE,  while King George’s ear can be seen clashed into the ND of INDIA.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The R of RUPEE is seen at the bottom edge of the crown. The anomaly indicated by the white arrows is not part of the clash.
