ADC-ES1P-1968-01
This 1 Peseta coin from Spain shows the relatively rare tilted die clash on both the obverse and reverse dies.
This is only the second denominational coin to have a tilted die clash present. The other denominational series that has tilted die clashes are the 1960 small date Lincoln cents.
The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when this event occurred. |
|
The denticles from the reverse die can be seen clashed above the words DE DIOS.
The reverse die shows the words DE DIOS clashed under the word PESETA.
Since this is a tilted die clash, these are the only two areas affected by the clash event. |
