This 1918-S Indian head (Buffalo) nickel show a strong obverse die clash. Over half of the letters from the word PLURIBUS are easily identified under the chin of the Indian.
A part of the buffalo’s neck can be seen clashes into the field below the half feather.
A clash mark left by the back leg of the buffalo can be seen in the field just to the right of the Indian’s brow.
