ADC-50c-1983-01

This 1983 Kennedy half dollar has strong, unabraded die clashes on both the obverse and reverse. Two of the clashes occurred very close to each other, while the third clash had a 10% offset from the first two clashes. Two wide spaced sets of laurel leaves and parts of the eagle’s wing can be seen in front and on the face of Kennedy. The rays above the eagle’s head are seen quite clearly below Kennedy’s chin and above WE TRUST. Part of the wing and the clutched arrows can be seen protruding from the back of Kennedy’s head.

On the reverse, the throat clash mark can be seen in the rays, while the back of Kennedy’s head shows clearly between the clutched arrows and eagle’s wing. The top of Kennedy’s head can be seenĀ  between the F of HALF and the D of Dollar. Notice that this clash mark is doubled. This coin was found by Aisha Shahid.
