ADC-25c-1967-01
This 1967-P Washington quarter went through two clash events, with enough offset in direction between the two events.
This coin was also struck with a misaligned obverse die and has a struck through another coin, causing the dent by “IN GOD WE TRUST”.
The next three pictures show evidence of the two clash events taking place. Notice the two strong clash marks from the top of the eagle’s wing by the word WE.
Also seen are the feathers from the eagle’s wing behind Washington’s queue.
The indent is pictured to the left and shows evidence of the other coins reeding in the indent. If the coin was struck through another planchet, the reeding would not be present.
The next four pictures to the left show the clash marks found on the reverse die. Washington’s throat and chin area are seen to the left and under the beak of the eagle.
The clash mark indicated by the black arrow is the area between Washington’s neck and queue.
The two clash marks to the left and above the tips of the arrows are made by Washington’s nose.
