ADC-1c-2017P-01
Below is an atypical die clash found on a 2017P, that of this writing, represents the strongest Lincoln Shield Cent clash we have seen thus far. While I have seen much of UNUM and E PLU clashed in the fields adjacent to Lincoln on other LSC examples, here is the first time I have seen so much of the perimeter of the shield clashing, or the designer’s initials LB and N from ONE behind Lincoln’s head. This clash was found by Lindsey Slentz.
This is the first time I have run across a LSC showing any clashed details from the obverse, of any kind, in the fields around the shield on the reverse side.
