ADC-1c-1984-03
This is a 1984P Lincoln cent with a very strong obverse / reverse, unabraded die clash. The dies are tilted 2° from each other.
The most unusual aspect of this die clash is the clash marks left by the 19 of the date and the front of Lincoln’s jacket. Normal with strong die clashes on the Lincoln cent, part of LIBERTY is clashed, especially the RTY. However, in this case, there is no indication of any letters being clashed from LIBERTY suggesting that there was an odd tilt to one of the dies when they clashed.
The second picture shows the strong clash mark left by the right side roof line of the Memorial building.
