ADC-1c-1972D-02
Here we have a nice clashed die example on a 1972D Lincoln cent. While there was evidence of a slight second clash (see the area around RTY in LIBERTY), the marks are largely confined to one set and on the obverse. We see some of that changed sheen to the surface of die wear the two fields made contact. This clash also has a minor RPM similar to CONECA 1972D RPM-007 and has slight finned rim from K7 to K1. (This die comes from the second master die for 1972 and has engraving doubling). The reverse shows abrasion, but little specific evidence of this exact clash.
This die was found by Jared Vineyard.
