This tilted die clash shows the AME of AMERICA clashed through the mintmark. There may have been slight die chatter causing a doubling of the clash mark left by the first A in AMERICA (see green arrow below). The reverse die does not show any clash marks and was most likely changed out for a newer or reconditioned die. The overlay shows the approximate position of the dies when they did clash.
