ADC-1c-1960D-64(SD)
This is an unusual tilted die clash found on a 1960D small date Lincoln cent. While the clash has a rotation of 13 degrees, the strike is normal. Just how this occurs is somewhat of a mystery.
The above pictures show a magnified die clash. The N of ONE is the most predominant clash mark, with the partial E of ONE and the partial C of CENT also seen.
This clash event can be recognized by the die scratch seen from the upper left corner of the E in LIBERTY and the radial die scratches seen through the word ONE.
