ADC-1c-1960D-61(SD) Stage “B” & “C”
This is a fairly light tilted die clash that only affects the word STATES and the area under Lincoln’s bust.
The overlay shows the relative position when the dies did clash.
The identifying marks for this die clash are the die scratches through the date and the lower part of the B in LIBERTY has been chipped out. This is stage “C”.
The date also has die scratching through it and the mint mark is a RPM.
The picture below shows the faint clash mark left by the letter N in ONE.
The clash mark left by the top of Lincoln’s head can be seen through the NE of ONE and the C of CENT.
