This 1960D small date Lincoln cent shows a rather strong clash event with the top of Lincoln’s head clashed through the NE of ONE and the CE of CENT. However, due to abrading or changing out of the obverse die, the reciprocal clash mark is not seen.
This clash event can be recognized by the following die markers.
A diagonal die scratch is seen through the date and mint mark.
Strong, slightly curved die scratches under the word AMERICA.
