This is another tilted die clash found on a 1960D small date Lincoln cent. Again, the positioning of the clash is different from the previous other clashed dies for the 1960D small date Lincoln cent.
This set of pictures shows the clash marks left by the word STATES and the overlay shows the relative position of the dies when they clashed.
These two pictures show the lower left jacket clash and the clash left by the top of Lincoln’s head
While there is no correspond die clash marks above Lincoln’s head, a clash mark can be seen through the NE of ONE and the CE of CENT.
The clash mark left by the E of UNITED can be seen in the image to the left. Diagonal die scratches through the date will help identify these clash events
