The obverse die on the 1974D Ike dollar show the clashed U from UNUM just to the right of the E in WE.

The reciprocal die clash is seen as a line from Ike’s throat and lower jaw line as it pass through the global of earth and under the first U of UNUM.

While this is an interesting die clash, it does not make this atypical. However, the three separate clash events seen above and through the word DOLLAR does make this an atypical die clash.
