This is an obverse / reverse die clash that is strong. The first picture shows the clash marks from the rays of the sun on the reverse. The second picture shows another clash mark left by a single ray above the W of WE. Once again, another clash mark is left at the nape of Liberty’s neck by another ray. The last picture shows the clash marks left by the olive branch.

The reverse shows more varied die clash marks. The first picture shows the clash mark left by the top of Liberty’s head as It dissects the olive branch’ The clash mark over the DO of DOLLAR comes from Liberty’s hair behind her ear. The clash mark over the LA of DOLLAR was form by the bun of Liberty’s hair. The last picture shows the clash marks left by Liberty’s flowing hair |

The first picture in this set shows the clash mark left by the forehead and nose of Liberty. The send picture shows the clash mark left by the lower lock of Liberty’s flowing hair. The last picture shows the clash left by Liberty’s chin and throat.

A second look found these clash marks in the interior of Liberty’s hair left by the rays of the set sun on the reverse. This die has been identified as 1923P VAM 1AH |
