This is a one sided clash event on a 1960D small date Lincoln cent that shows the word STATES clashed into the area below Lincoln’s bust.. No other clash marks are found on this coin.

This clash event can be recognized by the strong diagonal die scratch seen between the 1 and 9 digits of the date.

Also seen are die dents near the rim above the R and I of AMERICA.
